Mexico Travel Maps & Atlases

Mexico Maps provides many choices when it comes to maps of Mexico. For touring and recreational needs, we have folded maps, atlases, paper topographic maps and GPS maps. For corporate, research and development, school and library needs we also provide digital geo-referenced topographic maps (DRGs), vector data sets, orthophotos and custom GPS maps.

The 2008 Por las Carreteras de Mexico road atlas is one of our most popular items for driving to Mexico (see Road Atlases). It shows multiple types of roads, toll road info, parks and natural areas, plus a wealth of information on traveling in Mexico.

For folded state maps our favorites come from Ediciones Independencia. They are easy to read maps with a larger sheet size, detailed capitol city maps, insets of secondary cities and many other tourist features such as parks and other amenities. We also have the complete Guia Roji line of state and city maps.

New GPS Map of Mexico from Garmin

CITY NAVIGATOR MEXICO NT 2008 comes with auto routing for Mexico, expanded coverage area and searching by zip code in some cities. Includes more cities and street coverage than any other GPS map of Mexico to date. This comprehensive map is compatible with most Garmin receivers including Nuvi and StreetPilot. A CD-ROM version is available for receivers using storage cards such as CF cards or Garmin data cards or units having internal memory.

A downloadable GPS map from Bicimapas, the MEXICO GPS ATLAS provides cities and roads as well as topographic information in the form of contour lines. Excellent for adventurous recreational use, it includes off-road tracks and trails in some areas (such as Baja). It includes a database of over 280,000 towns and rural locations, points of interest and over 1500 PEMEX gas stations. Recently updated to version 2, compatible with most Garmin receivers. Please note: The search capability of this data varies with the model of receiver. 180MB download (broadband recommended).

Mexico Topographic Maps (INEGI)

As an authorized INEGI reseller, Mexico Maps has a complete selection of Mexico's topographic maps in paper format or as a DRG (digital raster graphic) ready for fast delivery by FTP. DRGs can be downloaded by FTP after your order has been processed. Click Topographic Maps in the left column to see our online index of the 1:250,000 scale maps and sample images of the different scale maps offered. You can now download a PDF guide for the 1:50,000 scale topographic maps at each main listing page (e.g. F12 or G14).

Other digital map products from INEGI include 1:250,000 scale topographic map sets on CD (Series II), topographic vector data sets (DXF or SHP formats and 1:50K and 1:250K) and orthophotos (1:20K). Please call for these special order products. Contact us if you are in need of more information about certain topographic, geologic or other mapping products offered by INEGI beyond the information we currently provide online since these are non-returnable/non-cancelable items.
