Mexico Travel Maps & Atlases

Mexico Maps provides many choices when it comes to maps of Mexico (see the links at the left). For touring and recreational needs, we have folded maps, atlases, paper topographic maps and GPS maps.

Good mapping for the entire country of Mexico in a spiral bound format comes from Guia Roji in their 2008 Por las Carreteras de Mexico road atlas. It shows multiple types of roads, toll road info, parks and natural areas, plus a wealth of information on traveling in Mexico.

State maps come from Guia Roji and Ediciones Independencia. They are both very well done. The Ediciones Independecia maps come with a city map on the back and a few insets of other cities included. We also have the complete Guia Roji line of city maps.

For corporate, research and development, school and library needs we also provide digital geo-referenced topographic maps (DRGs) for all of Mexico, vector data sets (SHP format or DXF), orthophotos and custom GPS maps.

Mexico GPS Atlas 2009 with Topographic Information
The Mexico GPS Atlas 2009 provides street level mapping for 2168 cities, roads and highways as well as topographic information for your Garmin GPS receiver. Now includes address searching in the downtown area of Mexico City (Miguel Hidalgo, Cuajimalpa, Cuauhtemoc and Benito Juarez sectors), Naucalpan in State of Mexico, Ajijic and Chapala in Jalisco, Palenque in Chiapas, Empalme in Sonora, Valladolid in Yucatán and Ciudad Canatlan in Durango. This feature will soon be available in many other cities.

The Mexico GPS Atlas includes off-road tracks and trails in some areas (such as the Baja California Peninsula and Copper Canyon). It includes a database of over 280,000 cities and towns. 47,000 points of interest and over 2000 PEMEX gas stations. Compatible with most Garmin receivers. Also available on a preloaded SD/microSD card.

City Navigator Mexico NT 2008 comes with auto routing for Mexico, expanded coverage area and searching by zip code in some cities. Includes more cities and street coverage than any other GPS map of Mexico to date with address geocoding for major cities. This comprehensive map is compatible with most Garmin receivers including all Nuvi models. A CD-ROM version is also available.

Mexico Topographic Maps (INEGI)

As an authorized INEGI reseller, Mexico Maps has a complete selection of Mexico's topographic maps in paper format or as a DRG (digital raster graphic). Click Topographic Maps in the left column to see our online index of the 1:250,000 scale maps and sample images of the different scale maps offered. You can download a PDF guide to get an index of the 1:50,000 scale topographic maps at each main listing page (e.g. F12 or G14).

Other digital map products from INEGI include vector data sets (DXF or SHP formats and 1:50K and 1:250K) and orthophotos (1:20K). Please call for these special order products. Contact us if you are in need of more information about certain topographic or other mapping products offered by INEGI beyond the information we currently provide online since these are non-returnable/non-cancelable items.
